Most teams aren’t just using one AI tool – a development team is on Cursor, your marketer on ChatGPT, a product manager is running Claude. Each team is connecting to different applications, connectors, plug-ins, with different permissions and behaviors.
Launched by Barndoor, Venn.ai is built for every knowledge worker navigating this multi-AI world. It easily connects to the AI tools your teams are already using – Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code, and Cursor – to the apps you’re working in.
During our user testing phase, we got a window into how people actually work, what they trust AI to do, and what tasks are ready for automation. What we learned: The teams getting the most out of AI aren’t just betting on one vendor – they’re connecting different tools to different applications and want a central place to manage how their AI works.
Here’s what happened when product managers, designers, consultants, customer success managers, execs, and marketing ops professionals used Venn for the first time, each with their own favorite AI tools, apps, and ways of working.
No more jumping between apps
Venn currently integrates with leading AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, and dozens of popular enterprise business applications, with more integrations coming soon. We’re also building Venn skills for emerging tools like OpenClaw. These efforts empower end users to streamline tedious work, automate AI-powered workflows, and set clear permissions and governance standard AI tools can’t provide.
An HR leader designed this sequence that saved her hours: She had her AI research a topic, create a Google Sheet about it, add instructions on tab 1, create a tracking form with drop downs on tab 2, then share the link to collaborators via Slack messages – all in one conversation.
“Completed seamlessly,” she told us. With smarter tools, the AI workforce is starting to reshape common work patterns.
For a director of sales Venn solves: “Jumping from one application to another.” He created an entire sales pipeline in one go. Contacts and leads in Close.io CRM, a monthly pipeline report in Google Docs, queried specific opportunities and exported to Google Sheets, then had his AI analyze open deals and create prioritized Linear tickets with suggestions to close faster. When the AI hit a snag creating Linear tickets, it debugged itself and kept going. Moreover, the director noticed the real potential for an AI-driven workforce in optimizing processes.
Consolidation is a game changer
Almost everyone described some version of having too many places where information lives. They’re not just switching between apps but losing track of conversations, requests, and commitments scattered across workplace platforms. Venn enables AI to see it all and synthesize it. This shift paves the way for more coordinated AI workforce efforts across enterprise environments.
A designer we spoke to brought up something we hadn’t considered: “The Figma AI system doesn’t have the previous information which I’ve gathered, and it would actually be really helpful to have the history of that.” This mirrors emerging priorities for a better-connected AI workforce among designers.
She’d been doing research in ChatGPT, then switching to Figma’s AI to create mockups, but Figma’s AI couldn’t see the ChatGPT conversation. With Venn, she could research, create design briefs, and generate Figma mockups all in one thread, with full context preserved. Such seamless collaboration represents the future of the workforce working alongside AI.
A marketing ops user tested Venn this way – she had it take inquiries from email, different Slack channels and consolidate everything that comes at her in a day into a to-do list. These users don’t want to use AI just to generate content. They want it to be an intelligent search layer across fragmented information landscapes. Across the marketing organization, adopting an AI workforce approach is becoming essential.
Guardrails, not gatekeeping
Venn gives you a single place to set permissions across all your connected work apps, no matter which AI tool you’re using. Instead of wondering what can Claude do in your Salesforce system every time you ask it something, you configure it once in Venn to:
✅ Read customer accounts
✅ Update Opportunity stages
✅ Create tasks and log activities
❌ Modify closed won opportunities
What’s great about Venn is that these settings apply across every AI you connect. If you change your mind about what AI should access, updates can be made in one place. By integrating better controls, organizations can realize the benefits of an effective AI workforce model.
A software developer connected 10 business applications in under 5 minutes. Her response, “I LOVE how simple Venn connects to all of these different services with one-click. Then I just add Venn as a connector to my AI and now have access to all my applications without adding each as a custom connector.” This efficiency shows the advantages of preparing your teams for an AI workforce environment.
